I work with a similar model for over a year (HVL-LBPA LED Light System). Definitely the best product on the market this purpose. It has a very wide beam of light, excellent diffusion filter and a filter for far smarter recording (focused beam of light). The only objection is a corrective filter to 3200k, it is easy to lose because it is not already installed on the body is placed separately. My company uses it to the sony z -7 HDV camcorders that have a wide lens, the beam of light is evenly distributed throughout the width of the frame .. FN-P970 battery can be a very long time to work at maximum power and has a dimer which can regulate the intensity of light if you want to have the texture of the background behind the subject. 150% good buy. Please note that I write about the Sony HVL-LBPA LED Light Sjtem. I personally own a video light LEDs 5001 but the HVL-LBPA LED light system much more advanced and more expensive model.
Dejan, thanks for leaving us comment. Other than some physical similiarity, the light you mentioned is totally different than the Comer light.
The Comer light is brighter (1800lux vs 1200lux), runs on any compatible battery vs Sony branded battery ONLY. The Comer light also has the tungsten filter fixed in the top flip so it is ready to use.
Comer light is also diffused by default. No need to add any diffuse filter like the one that you are using. Thanks
Hi, I looked better picture of your product and saw that you made a big step forward compared to the Sony model. My sincere recommendation to anyone who wants to buy this model there is no need to continue to search unless the price is high. As a cameraman I do work over 10 years and I've always believed that quality in the first place. Advantages over the Sony are explained in response to my first comment: I will only add
I'm very sorry I have not bought your model. I hope someone will at least encourage this in my comment and will decide for your model. Greetings from Banja Luka
